Meet our Reins of Hope board! Reins of Hope is a 501c3 non-profit organization backed by a loving and supportive board filled with local leaders from our community.
Ron Ellis President Ron Ellis, a former trucking company owner of Citgo, retired in 2004. Since his retirement, he has been actively involved with McNeese State University, where he shares his knowledge of beekeeping with students. In addition to his educational endeavors, Ellis serves as President of Reins of Hope and is a board member of the Farm Bureau. He is committed to helping others whenever possible. |

Matt Lundy Vice President Matthew Lundy is a partner at Lundy, Lundy, Soileau & South and a respected trial attorney with over 25 years of litigation experience. His principal areas of practice include personal injury, maritime law, product liability (pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices), mass tort, and class action. Motivated by a desire to help people who have suffered catastrophic events, Matt has recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients. He continues to be inspired by standing up for those in need of his help. |

Missy Conrad Treasurer Melissa “Missy” Conrad began her career in special education in 2018. She currently teaches at Westlake High School, where she finds her role highly rewarding. Missy’s goal is to equip her students with everyday life skills to aid their transition into adulthood. She believes that patience and understanding are essential when working with each student, and she finds that they make every day worthwhile. |
