Why Become a Volunteer?

- Training and Support: No prior experience with horses or individuals with disabilities? No problem! We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel as a volunteer. Our experienced staff members are always on hand to offer guidance and support every step of the way.
Volunteer Tasks
- Assist with Riding Sessions: Help prepare horses for riding sessions, assist riders during lessons, and provide encouragement and support as they work towards their goals.
- Care for Horses: Participate in the daily care and maintenance of our therapy horses, including grooming, feeding, and turnout.
- Facilitate Activities: Assist with ground-based activities and exercises designed to improve balance, coordination, and confidence in our riders.
- Support Administrative Tasks: Help with administrative tasks such as fundraising, event planning, and outreach efforts to ensure the continued success of our program.

- Complete Applications Print volunteer application/waiver and emergency form to fill out and return via email or directly to the stables. Upon receival of the forms, you will be added to our volunteer database.
- The Crew App You will receive a link to The Crew App, which we use for volunteer communication. With the link provided, follow the guided steps to become a volunteer team member.
Note: Please do not download this app until you receive a link from Reins of Hope.

ROH Member Follow Up After all of the above steps are completed, you should hear from a ROH staff member to discuss the next steps! If it has been 72 hours and you have not heard anything, please reach out to jeanne.dennis@lebocagestables.com or vivian@lebocagestables.com.
